The plan also introduced distinct zones, including a private toilet room and a generous walk-in shower, ensuring the space felt organized yet open. Our main challenge was balancing bold design elements, such as textured tile and eclectic wallpaper, without overwhelming the space. This was resolved by selectively applying statement materials and grounding them with neutral tones and a shared warm palette. Incorporating a large freestanding tub and separate shower also demanded thoughtful layout coordination to preserve openness. Lighting posed an additional design hurdle, as it needed to serve both practical and atmospheric purposes. Layered lighting solutions, including a chandelier focal point and task lighting, addressed this effectively. Each obstacle was met with a design-forward solution that enhanced both function and visual harmony.

The completed bathroom delivers a dramatic transformation, evolving from a confined space into a luxurious, highly functional retreat. The expanded layout now comfortably accommodates a freestanding soaking tub, walk-in shower, and private toilet room, all while maintaining a sense of openness.
