This project involved taking an existing home and fully renovating it. Everything from the walls to the utilities was totally removed and replaced. The house is a parallelogram (see the drawings below) and had an awkward stair layout. The third-floor ceilings were also uncomfortably low.
It took some creativity to make the plan work, including totally reconfiguring the stair and restructuring the roof to raise the third-floor ceilings. The front facade was also re-stuccoed with some relief added to give it more depth.
We worked on this property (as well as the home next to it) with Red Oak Development Group.
